Time Running Out to Vote Early in Tennessee

In Person Voting Ends Thursday

With just three days left to vote early in person in Tennessee, turnout exceeded 1.1 million voters yesterday, the eleventh day of the early voting period. With 95 counties reporting, a total of 108,994 voters cast their ballots yesterday, bringing the overall turnout to 1,108,056 voters.

“We have had a successful early voting period,” said Secretary of State Tre Hargett. “Tennesseans have three more days to enjoy the convenience of early voting.”

“With early voting about to end, if your mind is made up, the weather is good, and you’re not sick, I would encourage you to go ahead and vote,” added Coordinator of Elections Mark Goins.

Early voting will continue through Thursday, November 1. Voters with questions regarding the locations and hours of early voting are encouraged to contact their local election commission offices.
