Knoxville Police are hoping to locate a suspect who threw a rock through a man’s car window then stabbed him Thursday night, Jan. 10.

According to KPD Sgt. John Coward, at approximately 10:34 p.m. officers were dispatched to

a stabbing call in the parking lot of 4860 N. Broadway. Officers arrived on scene and located a white male victim. The victim told officers that he was driving through the parking lot and a white male suspect threw a rock and hit his vehicle. The victim told officers that he got out of his car to confront the suspect and wound up in a fight with the suspect. The victim received two small stab wounds on the left side of his back. The victim went to Saitn Mary’s Physicians Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Anyone who might have witnessed the stabbing or have any information is encouraged to call KPD.
