Size matters in South Knoxville

When it comes to armed robbery in South Knoxville, size really does matter. Apparently, one store manager has seen the movie Crocodile Dundee.
According to Witness statements on Sunday, Jan. 27, a white male entered the Dollar General Store located at 4219 Chapman Highway and attempted to rob the store. The suspect, described as wearing a dark hoody, dark jeans, bright white tennis shoes, and a ski mask or wrestling mask, asked a customer where the clerk was and was directed to the manager, who was stocking shelves.
The suspect told the manager to open the safe and manager told him,” No”. The suspect told him he had a knife and manager said, “I have a bigger one,” and put his hand in his pocket. The suspect fled from the business towards downtown.  Nothing was taken from the business. No was one hurt.
The suspect has not been seen since.
