Continual rainfall has caused some flooding in East Tennessee resulting in some school closings and street closings.

More than two and a half inches of rain fell in the Knoxville area on Sunday and Monday with another two or three inches expected before letting up. The heavy rain has caused many school systems to close and flooded streets to be impassible.
