Meigs County deputy indicted in shooting incident

Bradley Collins35of Spring City Rhea co SOThe Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested a Meigs County Sheriff’s deputy after he was indicted by the Rhea County grand jury last week on charges stemming from a shooting incident in Rhea County last year.

According to TBI Public Information Officer Kristin Helm, Bradley Collins, 35, of Spring City, was indicted on one count of aggravated assault and two counts of reckless endangerment. Collins is accused of  firing a weapon on Sept. 23, 2012, at his former stepfather, 46-year-old Randall Lee Copeland,  Collins was booked into the Rhea County Jail, Feb. 6, on a $10,000 bond.
