KPD probes fatal overnight shooting

Knoxville Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred overnight.
According to East District Patrol C Squad Lieutenant Bradley Anders,  KPD officers responded to a disturbance call at 310 Bell Street at 12:45 am. Wednesday, Jan. 30.
Upon arrival Officers found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at UT Emergency Room. Investigators are interviewing witnesses and following up on information found at the scene. Once notifications are made to the family KPD will release the name of the victim.
