Knoxville Police arrested two from East Knoxville Wednesday, after an investigation led detectives to a drug operation which included the sale of crack cocaine.

According to Knoxville Police, officers raided apartment 501 at 1827 Riverside Drive, Dec. 5 where they reportedly found a loaded gun, prescription drugs, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a large sum of cash. The apartment is the home of 20-year-old Carla Marissa Lawson. Also arrested was 22-year-old Aaron Christopher Rogers, of MLK Boulevard.

KPD charged both Lawson and Rogers with possession with intent to sell schedule III and schedule IV drugs, possession of cocaine in amounts greater than a half gram, possession of a weapon in the commission of a dangerous felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.
