The Honor Guard and Color Guard of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office will have their annual fundraising golf tournament April 13th at the Three Ridges Golf Course on Wise Springs Road. The Guard uses the money from this event to participate in community events such as opening ceremonies, graduations, and memorial services. They also assist other law enforcement agencies with funeral details after an officer has died and participate in the National Memorial Service in Washington D.C. which honors officers killed in the line of duty.
If you would like to be a sponsor or donate a door prize, please call Brian Cole at (865) 215-5611. Hole sponsorship is $100 and $25 for cart sponsorship. The cost of a four person scramble is $300 or $75 for a single player.
A barbeque lunch at noon is included in the entry fee. The shotgun start is at 8 a.m. and at 2 p.m. There will also be a silent auction and Lenoir City Ford is providing a car as a hole-in-one prize.
