Jammin’ in your Jammies” set for Feb. 8-10

What do you do after the excitement of the holiday season is gone, winter weather still lingers outside and the kids are climbing the walls in boredom?  Area families can enjoy a weekend of family fun and beat those winter blues at the 16th annual “Jammin’ In Your Jammies” event Friday, Feb. 8 through Sunday, Feb. 10.

A family of four can enjoy an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn World’s Fair Park, beginning with registration at 5 p.m. on Friday and concluding with a scrumptious Saturday morning brunch, OR they can register at 5 p.m. on Saturday and conclude their weekend with a Sunday morning brunch.  

This fun-filled overnight event will feature a variety of activities and entertainment for the entire family including dancing, games for kids of all ages, nail and face painting, swimming in the hotel’s indoor pool, karaoke, a pajama contest for the children and adults, great music from Star 102.1, gymnastic lessons from Little Explorers by Premier Athletics and special appearances by animals from the Knoxville Zoo and the Comedy Barn Canines.

All this “Jammin” fun for a family of four is only $140 for families who pre-register for the event by Jan. 25; after the pre-registration period, the cost per family is $150, and $80 of the event price is tax-deductible.  Additional family members can attend for an extra $20 per person.  Proceeds from the event will benefit a variety of services at Children’s Hospital.
