A tractor-trailer accident on Interstate 40 East in Jefferson County interrupted traffic for more than four hours Tuesday morning Dec. 18. No one was injured.
Tractor trailer driver David Potter said he was working on his truck on a shoulder at 416 mile marker when another tractor-trailer struck his. James Iles was the driver of the truck that struck Potter’s truck in the rear. Both drivers were cited.
