An Oliver Springs man shot and killed his son during a domestic dispute, Sunday. The district attorney is saying the incident appears to be self defense.
The shooting occurred at approximately 4:46 a.m. Jan. 13, at the home of the father, Vincent Brown on Old Harriman Highway.
Roane County Sheriff Jack Stockton said Vincent Brown’s son Michael, who is said to have had drug problems, came to his father’s home and started a fight. During the scuffle, Vincent received some minor injuries before he apparently shot his son in the mid section.
